Neer in Sanskrit, an Indo-European language, means water and ‘Sol’ comes from English word solutions. Our brand strives to discover solution to the problem of water pollution due to plastic waste by making products in which you just add water to create solutions. What cleaning products do you offer for dishes?

No. For now we sell bottles as a part of the starter kit.

Are your products disinfecting or antibacterial?

Active ingredients such as citric acid are natural disinfectants. Citric acid due to its acidulation along with surfactants due to its ability to disrupt cell walls takes care of most common pathogens. However we do not claim our product to be a disinfectant as it is not targeted to sterilise or disinfect surfaces and is not tested for its anit-microbial activity. In fact sterilization or disinfection is generally not recommended as a part of everyday cleaning to ensure we do not kill the healthy or harmless bacteria from our living environment. Should we consider launching a disinfectant, our subscribers will be first to know.

What is the shelf life of packaged product?

For best results use the packaged product within 1 year of manufacturing date.

What is the shelf life of solution?

We have formulated our product to last as long as other eco-friendly commercial product for 12 months. Since you are using tap water and not DM water (de-mineralised water) as commonly used in ready-to-use spray solutions in single-use-plastic, it might bring in few minerals and other contaminants to your solution which might affect the long term shelf life. To be on the safer side, use the solution within 6-8 months of preparation as exposure to light or pre-existing contaminants in your last refill can affect the performance. Rest assured, it will last longer than a common DIY solution.

Can I use your products if I have a soy or nut allergy?

Yes you can still use them. Our products do not contain nuts or soy.

Are NeerSol products cruelty free?

Yes. We do not test on animals.

Can I use NeerSol products if I have a soy or nut allergy?

Our products do not contain any soy or nut allergens that could potentially be absorbed through skin contact. Please consult doctor and show our ingredient list if you are prone to skin allergies due to contact with our cleaning products.

Are NeerSol products pH balanced?

Yes. We have formulated our products to be Ph balanced which means if a bathroom cleaner is meant to remove limescale, the ph will be low enough for the solution to do the job but leave your bathroom tiles surface unharmed. Note that PH level alone does not affect the level of cleaning.

Are NeerSol products natural?

We would not call our products to be natural. Most active ingredients in our formulation have been either naturally derived or are nature identical but will not be classified as natural elements. Trace elments in our formulation such as preservatives and food grade colouring agents are synthesized and are not naturally occuring.

Why do you have only two products?

Like any other new brand, we have started small. We want to grow organically while working with our customers. We want to hear what need and develop products to their satisfaction. What is not present in NeerSol products?

Our products are free from phthalates, phosphates, triclosan, quaternium-15 DMDM hydantoin, parabens, ammonia, chlorine, formaldehyde, ethanolamine compounds (DEA, TEA, MEA).

Is the bottle Recyclable?

Yes. You can take it to any recycling centre once the bottle breaks. Alternatively, you can sendit to us to ensure recyling and safe disposal.

If my bottle breaks, can I replace it without purchasing the tablets?

Yes. You can send us the broken bottle. For an additional charge of GBP 5 we will replace it with a new one. Shipping charges will apply based on location.

Are there preservatives in the formula?

Yes. We use preservatives to avoid mold and fungi growth in the solution.

What do you mean by non-toxic?

Toxicity is dose-dependent. Even water can lead to water intoxication when taken in high quantity, and even naturally occuring toxic chemicals are undetectable and have no impact on humans. Non-toxic formulation means that chemicals are used in quantities that have relatively low impact on our living environment and on humans if they are used in the recommended dosages and used as intended. Some cleaners use chemicals that are toxic even at low doses due to their frequent use and exposure. For example, many all purpose cleaners contain ammonia, fumes from which may cause respiratory irritation. Sodium hydroxide and sodium hypochlorite (bleach) are highly caustic, and sodium hypochlorite should never be mixed with any product containing ammonia or acids, or toxic gases will result. Aerosol sprays produce tiny droplets that are easily inhaled and absorbed into the body, and their propellants, usually butane and propane, are flammable. Fragrances can provoke asthmatic or allergic reactions in sensitive individuals. Swiffer wet cloths, however are treated with propylene glycol n-propyl ether and may irritate skin and aggravate known skin conditions.

How are NeerSol products eco friendly?

When we say our products are eco-friendly, it means they contain chemicals in concentrations that have little or no known harmful effect on the environment. Wherever possible we have used ingredients that are either food grade, or pharmaceutical grade, or that are readily biodegradable in the environement. For instance, our active ingredient such as citric acid occurs naturally in all living systems, is readily biodegradable and hence has little or no known impact to natural environment. Also, the surfactants are used in a quantity enough to do the job of cleaning and biodegrade easily without harming the enviornment. The preservatives used are food grade and have low impact to environment.

Are NeerSol products chemical free?

No. Water is also a chemical compound and used as a solvent for our cleaning formulation, hence we cannot call our products chemical free.

How long will one bottle of solution last?

It truly depends on how often you clean, and how generously you use the solution on the surfaces. For overall cleaning of an average sized household of 2 people, a bottle of 350 ml will last for a month when used once a week. For some this might be only a week’s supply.

What type of water should I use to make the solution?

Our tabs are designed to work with tap water or drinking water. The tabs will make the best solution with distilled water as it has least amount of impurities. You want to avoid using unknown sources of water as it might be contaminated with microbes.

Do I need to use hot water?

No. Luke warm water will give you best results as the tablets will dissolve faster and more evenly.

Does the bottle have to be completely empty before refilling?

Yes. We would advise you to wash the bottle with clean water to get rid of all residues and old solution before making a fresh solution. Avoid using hard brushes while cleaning to retain the beauty of the bottle.

Do I need to shake the bottle to dissolve?

No. Wait for the tablet to self dissolve. If you see some sedimentation after few days, do not be alarmed, it does not impact the performance of the solution. Simply shake it gently to mix the solution evenly before trying to spray to avoid blocking the spray nozzle.

How many times can I reuse the bottle?

As many times as you can till it breaks.

Can I use a bottle I have at home?

Yes, our tablets can be used in PET, HDPE, or glass bottle. You will help reduce carbon footprint from the manufacturing and transport of our bottle if you continue to use your own. We support saving the environment.

Can I use a different tablet with NeerSol bottle?

No. We do not guarantee the dissolution levels of the tablets manufactured by other companies which might impact the spray pump mechanism if the tablets are not dissolved evenly. Also, high soap content in other refills might block the fine mist spray nozzle.

How often can I use my cleaning solutions?

As often as it is needed to keep things clean. Not sure on how often and where to use household cleaners? You can visit cleanright, the official European consumer portal of the detergents and maintenance products industry. We find this as a trustworthy online resource on good housekeeping and cleaning at home.

Where should I store the tablets?

Store the tablets and the solution in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight to maintain product quality.

How do I get free shipping?

We provide free shipping for all of UK for orders more than £30. 

What will my bottle come shipped in?

Your bottle will be shipped inside a recyclable paper box. If you would like re-purpose it as your drawer organiser or gift box then please go ahead! We are also a big fan of ‘re-purpose before recycle’ as it adds to the life of the material before being discarded.

Can I cancel or change my order once it has processed?

If you have changed your mind after the order is already processed due to any reason, you can return it to us for a refund within 14 days of delivery. No hard feelings, no questions asked.

Is there an order minimum?

When will I see my refund?
